The paving of Robinson Avenue south of downtown Oklahoma City has finally began in order to connect downtown to the new alignment of I-40 and a very important exit for westbound I-40 travelers to the area. This will be a very important exit for westbound I-40 Crosstown travelers due to Chesapeake Energy Arena, Cox Convention Center, Myriad Botanical Gardens and Devon Energy Corp. all on Robinson Avenue. I think ODOT and the City of Oklahoma City should have made both a Westbound and Eastbound on/off ramp from I-40 to ease traffic and make tourism much easier for travelers to our great city. If there is a way to add an Eastbound exit on I-40 to Robinson I think ODOT should consider it.
